They are applicable for printing on different types of thermal transfer papers / labels /. They are most commonly used by printers to print labels with flat thermal heads. With wax thermal tapes, labels can be printed very well on non-glossy label papers that have low smoothness, as well as on semi-gloss and glossy label papers. Wax thermal tapes for labels are characterized by operation at a lower temperature of the printer head, which prolongs its life.
